Abstract

This research aims to develop a heat detection device for engine hoods using a thermocouple sensor based on the Mikrokontroler Arduino Uno. The device is designed to monitor temperature in real-time with high accuracy to prevent overheating, which can lead to engine damage. The thermocouple sensor was selected due to its ability to measure temperature over a wide range and its durability in extreme environments. The Arduino Uno is utilized as the main microcontroller because of its data processing capabilities and wireless connectivity, enabling efficient data transmission to other devices. Testing results demonstrate that the device achieves an accuracy of 99.07%, proving the system's reliability and precision in temperature detection. Therefore, this device can serve as an effective solution for accurately monitoring engine temperature and preventing potential damage caused by excessive heat.
