Perancangan Prototipe Sistem Alarm Kebakaran Pintar Berbasis IoT dengan ESP-32
Main Article Content
Abstract
This research develops a prototype of a Smart Fire Alarm System utilizing Internet of
Things (IoT) technology and the ESP-32 microcontroller. The system integrates MQ-2
sensors for gas and smoke detection and an infrared sensor for flame detection, aiming
to provide early and accurate alerts through sound alarms and Telegram notifications.
The system achieves a detection accuracy of 92% with a response time that is notably
fast, particularly for direct flame detection, although it records a false alarm rate of 8%,
mainly due to fluctuating environmental conditions. The prototype was tested using
simulated fire conditions and demonstrated the ability to reduce response time
effectively. The study highlights the importance of further optimization, particularly in
algorithm improvement and the addition of multi-sensor integration to handle more
complex environments. This system offers significant advantages such as remote
monitoring, automated responses, and potential scalability for residential and industrial
use, contributing to advancements in safety and fire prevention technologies.
