Abstract
The inventory process is often prone to errors, particularly due to human mistakes, as it involves manually recording a large number of items. With the advancement of technology, various tools have been developed to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of this process. One of the technologies widely used for repetitive tasks such as inventory management is Radio Frequency Identification (RFID). RFID technology utilizes radio signals to uniquely identify objects through RFID tags and specialized scanners. In this study, a device was developed using the ESP32 microcontroller and an RFID scanner PN532 to read RFID tags attached to equipment. The device can connect to the internet and automatically send the scanned data to an online spreadsheet. The transmitted data includes information such as the timestamp, item type, and scan location. The device casing was also designed using 3D printing to enhance ergonomics and portability. Testing results show that the device successfully scans equipment and records the data in real-time on the designated spreadsheet. This system is expected to be a practical and efficient solution for inventory management and reduce errors caused by manual data entry.
